What is We Can Canto 悦廣粵講 ?
悦 means “pleased”, while 廣 and 粵 are both short forms for “Cantonese”. 講 means to “speak”.
Hence, the name: We Can Canto – 悦廣粵講 reflects the vision of my YouTube channel: To share the joy of learning Cantonese and gain confidence in speaking Cantonese.
Who am I?
I grew up in Hong Kong and now live in Australia. Cantonese is a complex language and being a mum of two ABCs (Australian born Chinese), I understand the challenges of learning Cantonese in a non-native environment. With my background in Education (with a Chinese major), I would like to share my knowledge and experiences with those who are interested in learning Cantonese.
